Community Dinner, August 20, 2023

We had a wonderful community dinner yesterday. It was great to see so many people from our area. Our dinners are on the 2nd Sunday of every month at 4pm, with the next one being September 10th. We hope to see you there!

Car Accident at the Church, August 2023

We had a surprise this past Tuesday afternoon. A car on the road lost control and ended up hitting into the back of our church building. Luckily, no one was injured and there was minimal damage. A big thank you to Peter Bickford for supporting the response effort and to the Tom Kahl, Phil Gomez and Peter Simpson for helping to repair some of the damage.

Robin’s Nest, July 2023

What a joy it was these past few weeks to have a robin’s nest on the wreath by the door! People that visited us during that time were able to witness the progression from green eggs to small feathered robins with seemingly grumpy looking faces. It was wonderful to see new life blossoming while entering the church. They have all flown the nest, but below are photos of their time here.

Harvest Dinner, November 5, 2022

The Harvest Dinner was a great success! We received many canned goods and other items to distribute between Listen & The Haven. Thanks to the dinner crew that made it all happen. A special thanks to Laurie Tostenson who organized the dinner.
